Thai massage

“Touch comes before sight, before speech. It is the first language and the last, and it always tells the truth.”

Margaret Atwood

This ancient form of massage was developed by Buddhist monks 2,500 years ago in Thailand. The origin of this massage technique has influenced both Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine. In Thailand, this treatment technique is closely related to Asian culture and is called Nuad Phaen Boran (“ancient healing touch”).
Traditional Thai massage is a holistic dynamic treatment consisting of gentle, passive movements, stretching and rhythmic pressure. During Thai massage, muscle tension is released, flexibility and stretching of the limbs are stimulated, blood flow is increased and self-healing is mobilized. The treatment increases energy flow, harmony and an overall body balance.
Before starting the treatment, we discuss your personal needs, Final diagnosis is made by using touch techniques. After each treatment, we reflect about future procedure and intensity of treatment, depending your current needs.

Thai massage helps people to feel themselves again and takes them on a short holiday for body, mind and soul. When used regularly, it helps to achieve inner peace and thus promotes lasting holistic well-being.

The treatment is performed in cotton clothes on a soft, floor-cushioned pillow.
I kindly ask that you eat as little as possible before the treatment to facilitate movement.

I will be happy if I can accompany you for a part of your life path.
